Mirola
The Tserkva of the Mother of God from 1770. It stands on the
eastern slope of the village where it dominates. The typical three-part and
three-tower log building is on the outside planked which caused the nave and
women's part to raise an impression of one room. Towers and stepped
four-cornered domes over the sanctuary are terminated with pashes with blind
tambours and crosses. The roof of the edifice and of the tower is covered by
shingles. Rustic work and upper part of the tower are protected by vertically
slatted wall. In front of the object there is a wooden entrance gate with
eightside low roof, covered by shingles.
Interior furnishment is in its original state, iconostas is designed right
according to iconography principles. The altar is a four-row polychrome
architecture from the 18th century with icons and czarist gates. Upper row of
icons is newer, from the end of the l8th century.
