Literarne
muzeum Alexandra Sergejevica Puskina v Brodzanoch je pracoviskom Slovenskej narodnej kniznice v
Martine. Muzeum vzniklo v roku 1979 v budove renesancneho kastiela zo 17.-teho storocia. Najstarsia
zmienka o kastieli ako o rodovom sidle Brodziankovcov pochadza vsak z roku 1377 (spomina sa ako
kuria). Po smrti A.S. Puskina toto miesto casto navstevovala jeho manzelka Natalia a deti.
V areali muzea je historicky park, v ktorom je 10 bust vyznamnych slovenskych a ruskych spisovatelov
od poprednych slovenskych vytvarnikov. Nedaleko muzea sa nachadza rodinna hrobka povodnych majitelov
kastiela - kaplnka Friesenhofovcov. V hrobke je pochovana aj sestra Puskinovej manzelky Alexandra
Goncarovova-Friesenhofova.
The
Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin Literary Museum at Brodzany is a branch workspace of the Slovak
national library in Martin. The museum was set up in 1979 in a 17th century renaissance chateau,
where Pushkin often stayed. After his death, his widowed wife Nathaly and children often paid visits
to this place.
A historical park surrounds the chateau and contains 10 busts of prominent Slovak and Russian
writers by foremost Slovak artist. Not far from the museum is the family crypt of the original
owners of the chateau - the Friesenhofs. Buried in it is also the sister of Pushkin's wife -
Alexandra Goncharov - Friesenhof.
Expozicie / Expositions:
Expozicia venovana dejinam slovenskej literatury z aspektu slovensko- ruskych vztahov od
velkomoravskeho obdobia do zaciatku 20.-teho storocia bola spristupnena v roku 1989. Historicka cast
expozicie priblizuje zaujimave brodziansko- puskinovske vztahy a suvislosti.
The exhibition devoted to Slovak literature from the aspekt of Slovak-Russian
literary relations from the Great Moravian period up to early 20th century was open in 1989. The
historical section of the exhibition deals with the interesting Brodzany - Pushkin relationships and
affinities.
