Expozicia Janosik a Terchova

Je venovana ludovemu hrdinovy Jurajovi Janosikovi, ktory sa v obci narodil. Su v nej instalovane
dokumenty a materialy k dejinam Terchovej a ludovym zvykom. Z exponatov uputa pozornost deres,
predmety pouzivane cez fasiangy, potreby rolnickej domacnosti v minulosti.

Expozicia bola zrekonstruovana a znovuotvorena 2.8.2008
pri prilezitosti 320. vyrocia narodenia a 295. vyrocia popravy Juraja
Janosika.
Exhibition of Janosik and Terchova
In the centre of the village of Terchova on the edge of the Mala Fatra National Park, which tourists
often visit for the beauties of the Vratna Valley, the Povazie Museum offers visitors the following
exhibition of Janosik and Terchova.
The exhibition is dedicated to the folk hero Juraj Janosik, who was born in the village. It contains
documents and materials relating to the history of Terchova and folk customs. The most interesting
exhibits are a set of stocks, instruments used at carnival time, and items used by agricultural
households in the past.
