The exposition is opened Monday to Friday (in season May 15 - September 15 also on Saturday and Sunday).

Mincovna Kremnica otvorila minciarsku expoziciu, v ktorej ponuka moznost prezriet si zaujimave exponaty v novo zrekonstruovanych priestoroch historickej budovy Mincovne a taktiez jedinecnu prehliadku starej raziarne minci.
Raziaren minci je srdcom kazdej mincovne, vrcholi tu vysoko odborny a technologicky velmi presny proces spracuvania mincovych zliatin razbou minci. Raziaren minci vznikla pri generalnej prestavbe mincovne v rokoch 1881 - 1889 a stala sa sucastou suboru budov pochadzajucich z polovice 15. storocia. Ide o unikatne zachovany priestor s castou historickeho zariadenia. Zachovany subor historickych raziacich strojov znacky Vulkan v priestoroch povodnej starej raziarne tvori technicku historicku pamiatku nadnarodnej kategorie. Na tychto strojoch a v tychto priestoroch sa razili miliardy kusov minci nielen pre vlastnu krajinu, ale aj pre desiatky statov celeho sveta. Stroje charakterizujuce jednotlive etapy technologickeho postupu vyroby v jednom z historicky najzaujimavejsich priestorov mincovne - starej raziarni - su sucastou prehliadkovej turistickej trasy kremnickej mincovne volne dostupnej vsetkym zaujemcom.

In 2006, the Mint prepared an exhibition of minting technology in the area of the old striking plant. The machines characterizing individual stages of the technological process of the production of coins were added to the free areas of the striking plant, and were offered to be seen by a wide public.

The coin striking plant can easily be called the heart of every mint. In the coin striking plant, the highly specialized and technologically very exact process of processing coin alloys culminates in striking the coin. The coin striking plant was created during general restoration of the mint in 1881 – 1889 and it became part of the group of buildings originating from the mid-15th Century. It is an uniquely preserved area with parts of historical equipment. A remaining set of historical Vulkan striking machines in the area of the original, old striking plant creates a technical, historical site of a multi-national significance. A billion coins were struck on these machines in this plant, not only for our own country, but also for tens of states around the world.

Navstevnici expozicie maju okrem prehliadky tzv. starej raziarne a ukazky razby zetonov, moznost prezriet si vyrobky Mincovne Kremnica - od medaili z roznych kovov, cez obehove mince krajin viacerych kontinentov az po vzacne pamatne mince z drahych kovov. Sucastou prehliadky su aj kratke filmy o historii mincovne a jej cinnosti. Kazdy navstevnik dostava k vstupenke zeton s motivom expozicie a mincovne, no zaroven si moze kazdy skusit razbu zetona na historickom raziacom stroji - balancieri.

V zavere roka 2008 vyrazila Mincovna Kremnica aj nove slovenske euromince. Priestory raziarne, ktore patria medzi najdolezitejsiu cast mincovne, su od jesene 2008 spristupnene verejnosti ako sucast expozicie mincovnictva MK. Navstevnici tak maju jedinecnu moznost vidiet nove, moderne raziace stroje priamo pri razeni minci.

Except from seeing the old minting room and striking of tokens, the visitors of the exposition may see also various products of Mint Kremnica - medals made from various metals, circulation coins of many world countries, commemorative coins made of precious metals. During the tour the visitors will see short movies about history of the company and its activities. Every visitor who purchase an entry ticket gets also a token. Moreover, everyone can try to strike its own token with the historical minting machine, so called balancier.

In the end of 2008, Kremnica Mint struck also the new Slovak euro coins. The new minting room, considered as one of most important places on the Mint, was at this occasion opened also for public and the visitors have the opportunity to see new, modern technology and minting machines making the coins.
